Rimlife Green Technologies continues to strengthen its long-time partnership with APEX PTE LTD, a Singapore-registered company that has been its agent for sales of solar modules and the contruction in Bangladesh. Some 60 percent of Bangladesh's 150 million people have no access to the main electrical grid, with many relying on costly kerosene lamps for lighting. The two companies started their collaboration in 2009, when APEX PTE LTD's Director Mr. Mark Zhang approached RimLife Green Technologies Managing Director, May Li to start a business ally to build solar systems in this electricity-starved country. This initial meeting blossomed into a relationship that has only grown stronger and deeper over time, whereas Bangladesh is seeing more and more solar-powered energy systems and lighting that has improved people's living there. As a result of this, ever larger shipments of solar modules have flowed into Bangladesh, and this has helped fuel the fast growth of solar energy in the country. More than 1 million homes have added solar power in the country since 2002, and this is projected to grow to 2.5 million households by 2014. It is with this emerging market in mind that both Rimlife Green Technologies and APEX PTE LTD continue to push their shared vision of a world that uses cleaner and healthier solar power.
